Although her legal name is Carly, Wren Robbins took on the name “Wren” after a defining moment in her life 5 years ago when she connected with the small, but mighty bird. This unassuming bird can take down large prey and overcome large obstacles, yet have one of the most iconic and beautiful songs of any bird. This is a perfect testament to Wren’s willingness to strive through adversity with grace and poise. In 8th grade, Wren was assigned as a lighting assistant for the high school’s spring musical production immediately following COVID-19. This simple role led to her taking over the high school tech crew and working on the showcase, where she showed her directors her leadership and management skills as well as her eagerness, and love for making a show run as perfectly as humanly possible.

After this short stint, Wren continued working on the tech crew and was offered the position of the first-ever Georgia Military College Prep School stage manager. Ever since then, she’s only grown in her passion and love for helping performers shine to their fullest potential in all stages of life.

Wren took four years of JROTC classes, where she learned invaluable leadership skills. She was eventually offered the role of Battalion S-6, where she is still the Technological Aid Officer for her battalion of 320 people.

However, theater isn’t the only thing she does. She’s proven her work ethic, stretching into her marching band’s color guard, where she has been captain for the past two years. She has also participated in many volunteer opportunities in her school and across her community of rural Middle Georgia, helping low-income communities and disabled veterans.

She plans to pursue stage management as a career after college to further aid performers and creatives in bringing performances to life that influence the lives of others.
